Boy, No rain since early August and now we get rain, and it is expected to really rain tomorrow on Thanksgiving. It is beautiful out there though. Everything is so green and healthy looking.
I have three 20 foot long four foot wide raised rows started in the new Garden area. They are all about 12 inches high with mulch, and Compost, and Hay in layers (Lasagna Garden style) .
I will get the Chicken wire fencing up this week so Jeanne can plant Strawberries. I haven't figured out the Gates yet, as I need to make them tight enough to keep out the little bunnies.
Nothing will keep out the Ground squirrels, except maybe an electric fence wire to stop them from climbing over the top..... Harbor Freight has a Solar powered one that might fit the bill.
Well, we have plenty to do tonight and tomorrow to get ready for Thanksgiving with the kids.
Too wet to plow anyway, so will stay inside and prepare goodies to eat.....
