Fixing what aint broke

Well, Gob went to the Vet yesterday and got fixed (but he wasn't broken) He was woozy when he came home but didn't seem to hold a grudge ( I certainly would have) he slept for a while and was up just before bedtime and visited with us and joined us in bed. He had a tremor in his meow but seemed to be Ok..... He also got his front nails trimmed and smoothed so he won't tear up the furniture for awhile....
On Sunday, another tiny Chihauha came into the yard, Luckily Jeanne was out there gardening because Wonder saw the Chihauau and barked, and the little one ran and fell into the pool.
Jeanne was able to fish her out and dried her off.... This little one looks like she might be over a year old. Her teeth are not baby teeth and she has a look about her of some age....
So I put a "Found Dog" sign out on the corner Monday morning and no one has called yet.
This little one has not been house-broken, I'm wondering if she was kept outside or kenneled as a Breeder maybe..... She gives every indication of being in heat.... I can't believe no one has come looking for her, I'm thinking she might have been abandoned..... There is a lot of that going on these days. So, here we are babysitting another critter we probably don't need. She is a doll though and has made friends with Wonder and Gob already. Becky will bring Piccolo ( her found Chihuahua) on Friday so they can meet. Perhaps she'll want to take her home so Piccolo will have a playmate while Becky is at work. The weather has turned cooler just a bit, so we planted some Peas in the Greenhouse. I expect that it'll be warm enough to get them up and sprouted before it cools too much and they will have the winter to enjoy the Greenhouse. Jeanne ordered some Greenhouse Cucumber seeds ( almost $1 a piece) and I bought trellises for the Peas and Cukes to grow on..... So, we're getting started.... The Tomato plants are doing very well in the Greenhouse, soon we'll need to hang strings from the overhead to support them.
Well, that's it for now. More when it really cools off, to report on the Greenhouse activities.
