Raining Cats-n-dogs

As I sit here it is raining Cats-n-Dogs out there. What a wonderful change from the 112 degree days just two days ago..... It is less than 70 degree's out there on the back porch thermometer.
The Critters are enjoying themselves, running into the barns when it starts coming down really hard, and standing out in the milder moments. Ben, the Herd Guardian Dog, has been really hating the heat, but today is just his element.... He is laying out there in the grass just enjoying the wet cooler conditions. (I'm sure he wishes it was this way all the time) Sometimes I think I'd like that too, but I remember what it was like with day after day of grey sky's and rain up in the Pacific Northwest.....) Nope! I like it when this is a welcome relief, and then the Sun comes out and everything dries out and we go on as before. (awaiting of course the next nice rain)
Well, the Greenhouse has been a pain..... I had to go out yesterday morning and un-clip and re-settle 4 panels and re-clip them... We got a strong wind storm the night before with in excess of 68 mph winds. None of the panels flew away, but some were buckled up, or down as the case may be.... I am still trying to put Clear Silicone on the clips so the panels can't pull out from under them, but the panels were still wet so it'll have to wait, even longer now that it is raining again. At least this rain doesn't have strong wind associated with it.
So, the Garden is liking this rain, the Pumpkin patch has flowers all over it. I hope we have plenty of pumpkins for the Grand-daughters to pick from to make Jack-o-lanterns out of.
Boy, this Paca-Poo is really something.... You can see the plants perk up after they get a fresh dose of the Paca-Poo Tea that Jeanne makes...... We ought to bottle it and sell it. I might look into it. We're hanging in there..... More later Bob
