Well, I am back inside where the Air conditioner can help me return to normal.
I started out by bolting the Steel Foundation Frame together and placing it on the dirt pad.
Then I checked for square (the measurements don't match the ones given in the directions) but the measurement is within 1/4 inch. (for square, but 4 inches off of their stated measurement) Level was checked and rechecked as I dug the trench to lower the frame into. Then once lowered into place and level and square, I back filled and checked level one more time..... Now I raked and leveled the pad and watered it down.
I took some Pictures that hopefully will eventually get edited into this blog....
Now we're really getting somewhere. The foundation looks good on the pad, and there is a nice sized path between the side of the Greenhouse and the Garage. I am thinking that once I place the Gatepost at the corner of the Greenhouse and cement it in place I can attach the Greenhouse to it and that will anchor it well enough to take any Westerly wind we may get. I plan to connect the opposite corner to the existing Wrought Iron Fence and then it can't fly away. I have taken most of the aluminum extruded parts out of the box and placed them here-and-about in the Garage so I can see what is there and can picture where they will go during the steps listed in the instructions. So, if I can just try not to fall off my stool and scatter nuts and bolts to the wind again, perhaps this project will be completed soon.
